NSW Council Elections

There are 128 local councils in NSW. They are each governed by around a dozen councillors elected every four years. NSW is having local council elections on 14 September 2024.

The Libertarian Party (formerly the Liberal Democrats) will be actively contesting these council elections.

Woke B.S. has infected our local councils.

Councils are meant to be focussed on practical matters likes roads and rubbish… but they are fixated on conceptual rubbish like global boiling, drag queen story time, the doomed YES campaign, pride month, Middle Eastern politics, banning Australia Day, gender obsession etc. Meanwhile, all this folly results in ever-increasing rates.

Vote for the Libertarian Party. We will take the chainsaw to council waste and seriously cut rates.

  1. GET WOKE B.S. OUT OF COUNCIL!
  2. SMART CITIES? NO WAY!
  3. PROMOTE PROPERTY RIGHTS
(yes, we’ll vote YES to your DA)
  4. CUT COSTS AND SLASH RATES
  5. PRIVATISE COUNCIL RUN BUSINESS
  6. SUPPORT COUNCIL DEMERGERS
